An engaged couple recently came into our store looking not just for wedding bands, but also to honor the memory of the groom's late father.
The groom wanted to use his father's wedding band somehow. Unfortunatley, after years of wearing it, the band was light and rather worn.
Our design specialist decided it would be better to use the band in a less traditional way.
Our expert Goldsmith ended up cutting part of the father's original wedding band, and soldering it inside the groom's newly ordered wedding band. Look carefully and you can see it in this picture.
With the left over part of the original band, our Goldsmith crafted a custom heart pendant. We added a jump ring and a chain, finishing the piece as a beautiful necklace to be worn by the groom's daughter.
This was a beautiful way to allow two generations to constantly keep a father, and grandfather, close by at all times.
