After spending some time in Las Vegas at one of the largest jewelry shows, we have returned with visions of jewels in our head.
Fashion for the fall is filled with many options! The styles are modern, edgy, and geometric with some designers. With others it is clearly a classical revival.
I saw many styles from the 80’s and 90’s reborn. One thing is for sure, everyone is going for the gold. Both yellow gold and rose dominated the show floor.
There seem to be two camps: those continuing minimalist styles, and those who feel like big is back!
Color has returned in a big way as we saw every designer venturing in.
Rings continue to make a return as we see large cocktail and stacking rings at the forefront.
Fine jewelry never needs to be a trend that is either in or out.
Build a wardrobe of classics that, when worn, makes you feel happy, and you can always introduce a new piece to update your look.
Not sure how to wear it? Make an appointment with one of our stylists for a consultation and we can show you how to reinvent those old pieces, or what to add to make you look on trend with a few tweaks.
Remember fine jewelry is an investment in the future. Unlike the costume pieces that end up in the trash, quality fine jewelry if cared for will last a lifetime.
I was wearing 30 year old gold bracelets with a large gold locket that is about 25 years old.
I was stopped by a number of people who complimented the pieces. All it took was an updated pair of earrings and ring to pull it all together.
Instead of all those $30.00 pieces buy one piece of fine jewelry and before you know if you will have a great base!
