After losing his wife to a valiant battle with cancer, a client came to us with much of her jewelry.
We helped sort through what she had--separating costume jewelry from fine jewelry that had value. While he chose to sell some of the jewelry, he wanted to keep other particularly special pieces.
These were two of those pieces: a ruby and diamond bracelet, as well as a ruby pendant.
His vision was to create a large gold cross he could wear, decorated with his wife's stones. He sketched out exactly what he wanted.
Once we removed the rubies from the pendant and bracelet we took exact measurements of each stone. Our designer then created computer renderings of what the piece would look like.
We finished the cross with a large bail, so the cross could slip onto a substantial gold chain. We also engraved his initials, and his wife's initials, on the back.
He can now wear the memory of his wife each day, knowing she is with him always!
