Jewelry is incredibly sentimental.
Each piece in your collection likely has a story. An heirloom passed down from a loved one, a gift given for a special occasion, or a treat for yourself to celebrate an accomplishment.
While those memories are incredibly strong, sometimes the jewelry needs to be repurposed to be worn and enjoyed.
One of our long-time clients recently came to us after her husband passed away. She had his original wedding band, another ring, and a bracelet that he wore all the time. The pieces all meant so much to her--she has countless memories of him wearing those pieces. But she knew she wouldn't wear them, since they were so big.
She did, however, want to create a new piece out of those sentimental items. Something she could wear regularly to think of him.
She worked with our design team to conceptualize a necklace with two interlocking circles, one representing her and one representing her husband. It shows their everlasting connection.
In each circle our designer burnish set the stones from the rings he wore, adding a subtle sparkle to this beautiful piece.
We used all the gold from the original rings and the bracelet in creating the new necklace, keeping his love near her heart for years to come.
